A student who plans to enter graduate school may choose a different set of courses than one who seeks a job with a federal agency. |  |
| In the past, some Environmental Studies majors have gone to work for state or federal agencies in various capacities, such as data analysis, recreation managers, etc. Others have found work in environmental consulting firms or for non-profit organizations.
